Instructions
1. Prepare the Oven and Pan
You need to preheat your oven, so while you are making the cookie dough, the oven gets to the required temperature, which is 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix Wet Ingredients
Now take a large bowl and put ingredients: eggs, white sugar, brown sugar, oil, melted butter, vanilla, and pumpkin puree. Now mix these items until they become smooth.
3. Mix Dry Ingredients
Take another large bowl and this time add flour, baking soda, baking powder, pumpkin spice, salt, and ground ginger. You need to blend all of these items.
4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and make a thick and smooth batter. Do not overmix.
5. Bake the Cake
Now take this batter and pour it into the pan that you need to grease with oil. Now, place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 to 35 minutes. Take out the cake and let it cool down.
6. Make the Frosting
For frosting, take a bowl and add butter and cream cheese, and mix until smooth. Now add vanilla and sugar to make it sweet and tasty. Beat this to make it fluffy.
7. Frost the Cake
Use the frosting on the pumpkin cake and spread it evenly. Now sprinkle pumpkin spice or cinnamon on top for extra flavor. Refrigerate it for 30 minutes and serve chilled.
