Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cookie Dough
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold in the flour until a soft dough forms.
- Optionally, fold in chopped dark chocolate for extra flavor.
Step 2: Shape and Bake Cookies
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Scoop small portions of dough and shape into flat rounds.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden on the edges.
- Remove and allow cookies to cool completely.
